Who’s the BEST of the BEST in HAND SOLDERING?

Do you or someone you know have what it takes to win at hand soldering? The time to shine is at the IPC Hand Soldering & Rework Competition in conjunction with NEPCON Thailand 2023.

The reliability of electronic equipment is ensured by zero-defect soldering processes. This contest recognizes the best skills in hand soldering complex printed board assemblies.

Who is the best of the best in Thailand? If you think you have what it takes to be a champion of hand soldering, then bring your skills to the IPC Hand Soldering & Rework Competition at NEPCON Thailand 2023!

The competition will be held during NEPCON Thailand 2023 located at BITEC | Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre, Bangkok, Thailand.

Over three days, participants will compete against each other to rework a functional electronics assembly within a 50-minute time limit. Assemblies will be judged on soldering in accordance with IPC-A-610H, IPC J-STD-001H, IPC-7711/21C - Class 3 criteria, the speed at which the assembly was produced and overall electrical functionality of the assembly. IPC Master Instructors will serve as judges.

Prizes

Cash awards will be given to the winner and two runner-ups.

1st place - $300, 2nd place - $200, 3rd place - $100

The winner also receives QUICK HSC Limited Edition - Golden Soldering Station.

The winner gets the chance to compete at the 2023 IPC Hand Soldering World Championship at Munich, Germany.

IPC reserves the right to select participants and final explanation.
